The Dees will kick off their 2022 Toyota AFL Finals Series with a huge Qualifying Final Clash against the Swans at the MCG.
The clash will take place under Friday night lights, at 7.50pm AEST on Friday 2 September.
Melbourne secured the all important double chance with its Round 23 win - a convincing display against the Lions to finish 58-point victors and cement second position on the ladder.
The win also secured a home final at the MCG, marking the first time since 2018 Melbourne-based Demon members will have the opportunity to watch their AFL side live in finals.
In fact, the Dees will not have to leave the MCG throughout the 2022 Toyota AFL Finals Series, with both a win and loss scenario resulting in another clash on the hallowed turf.
