MELBOURNE has named a 28-player squad to take on Carlton in its official AFLW practice match on Saturday.
The Demons will be returning to the MCG to face the Blues ahead of Melbourne’s Round 22 AFL match, with the first bounce scheduled for 4:40pm (AEST).
The game will be the first official hit-out ahead of season seven, with six of the club's eight new recruits – Sabreena Duffy, Maeve Chaplin, Jordan Ivey, Charlotte Wilson, Sammie Johnson and Blaithan Mackin - featuring in the line-up.
The weekend match will be open to those with tickets to the Round 22 AFL game between Melbourne and Carlton, which you can purchase here.
