CASEY’S undefeated start to the season has come to an end, after it went down in a thriller by three points against Port Melbourne at North Port Oval on Saturday.

Big man Jack Fitzpatrick continued his impressive form, kicking three goals.
He also had 23 hit outs and gathered 13 disposals.
Rookie James Magner again again shone in the middle, gathering 32 dispoals and six tackles.
Chris Dawes, in just his second match back from a seven-week hamstring injury, managed three goals and was among Casey’s best.
Dawes is now likely to play his first match for Melbourne against Gold Coast Suns this Sunday at the MCG.
Speedster Sam Blease hit back after being left out of the Melbourne side, winning 27 disposals and providing plenty of run.
Jimmy Toumpas and Tom Couch, who collected 27 disposals each, James Sellar and David Rodan were also among Casey’s best.
Casey will take on Box Hill next Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields at 1:10pm.
