THE MCG turned pink on Thursday night as Melbourne and its long-standing partner, Breast Cancer Network Australia, celebrated the 2022 Pink Lady Match.
It was a special night honouring all those impacted by breast cancer with the return of the BCNA's 'Mini-Field of Women', alongside a guard of honour full of breast cancer survivors and families of loved ones lost to the disease.
Fans were encouraged to show their support by purchasing a virtual spot on the 'G or grabbing a BCNA pink beanie and in a massive show of support by the Australian football community, a total of $350,000 was raised.
BCNA pink beanies are now sold out but fans can still show their support by donating to BCNA here.
