MELBOURNE is pleased to announce Hertz Australia has extended its partnership with the club for a further three years.

The new agreement will see the leading rental vehicle provider continue as the club’s AFLW Co-Principal Partner, as well as a Major Partner of the Demons’ AFL program.

The Hertz logo will proudly remain on the front of Melbourne’s AFLW guernsey, equating to six consecutive seasons of support, while also retaining presence on the men’s playing shorts and media polo.

First partnering in 1984, the extension will see Hertz mark its 40-year anniversary of partnership with Melbourne – a milestone worthy of great celebration.

“Reflecting on when our partnership with Hertz began, Ron Barassi was coach of the club, Robbie Flower was captain and we had 6,200 members,” Melbourne CEO Gary Pert said.

“We stand here today, close to four decades later, just shy of 62,000 members, with strong AFL and AFLW programs, and the continued support of great commercial partners, including Hertz.

“We are delighted to build on our partnership with Hertz over the next three years and look forward to working with them well into the future.”

Eoin Macneill, Vice President of Hertz Australia, echoed Pert’s sentiment, saying he was excited to continue the long-standing partnership.

“We are thrilled to continue our long-standing partnership with Melbourne as the club’s exclusive rental car partner,” he said.

“For club members, we will continue to bring engaging experiences and exclusive travel offers to connect fans with the team at home and on the road.”

Hertz Australia offers Melbourne members a 20% discount on vehicle rentals across the country.

As a special deal to Dees fans, any offers redeemed from now until the end of August will go into the draw to win two tickets to the 2022 Toyota AFL Grand Final.
