IN – Petty
OUT – Tomlinson (omitted)
PREMIERSHIP defender Harrison Petty will play his first game of the 2022 AFL season this weekend, when Melbourne faces GWS at the MCG.
Petty joins the side following two months on the sidelines with an injury to his calf.
The defender returned to match-play via the VFL last weekend, where he collected 14 disposals and seven marks in Casey’s win over Williamstown, and has since proved he’s ready to perform at AFL level.
Making way is defender Adam Tomlinson, while the side’s emergency list is made up of Toby Bedford, Luke Dunstan, Kade Chandler and Joel Smith.
Saturday’s game is Melbourne’s third home game of the year with the first bounce scheduled for 7:25pm (AEST).
Fans are still able to purchase tickets for the match, available here.
