The AFL announced on Sunday that the 2022 NAB AFLW Preliminary Finals would be free entry for all football fans, thanks to Telstra. 

Fans will still need to redeem tickets via Ticketek, with tickets still available here.

Membership Services will be located at a ticket window near Gate 6 for any enquiries throughout game day. 

For members who are yet to receive their Hell Yeah tees, these will be available at the above ticket window near Gate 6. 

Getting to the MCG

Public Transport

By train, you can walk to the MCG from Richmond and Jolimont stations.

Multiple tram routes also stop close to the stadium, including the 70 (via Melbourne Park light rail), the 48 and 75 (both Wellington Parade).

Limited parking in Yarra Park is available for this match.

MCG COVID-Safe practices

In line with the Victorian Government health directives for major events at the MCG, entry will only be granted to fully vaccinated patrons. Patrons must also check-in to the MCG upon entry via QR code using the Service Victoria App. Patrons 18 years and over must provide proof of vaccination status and proof of check-in.

Arrive early

With the process for admission including more steps in 2022, we are encouraging fans to arrive early to the MCG to ensure fans are inside in time for the match start.

The entry process will now include QR code check-in and proof of vaccination, security bag checks, scanning of ticket and finding you spot to enjoy the game live.

We encourage supporters to download their ticket prior to their arrival at the MCG.
