Saturday night footy at Metricon

MELBOURNE’S Trent Rivers will play his first official game of 2022, making his return for the side’s clash against the Gold Coast SUNS on Saturday 26 March.

This will be the Demons’ first interstate trip of the season and the first time the side has played on Queensland soil since Round 18 of the 2020 season.

With both sides coming off impressive opening-round wins, the battle on Metricon Stadium is sure to be a big one.

Local eligible members can access a complimentary ticket to the game. If eligible, members will have received an email from the club on Tuesday 22 March with a barcode to access tickets.

Membership Information

As the league shifts away from physical membership cards, the Demon faithful will now be able to access their membership and scan into games via the Melbourne Football Club app on iPhone and Android devices.

The club is encouraging all members to load their Mobile Membership to their device before arriving at the ground.

Tickets will be available to view in the app 72 hours prior to each home game.

Metricon Stadium COVID-Safe practices

In line with the Queensland Government health directives for major events at Metricon Stadium, entry will only be granted to fully vaccinated patrons. Patrons must also check-in upon entry via QR code using the QLD App. Patrons 18 years and over must provide proof of vaccination status and proof of check-in.

Arrive early

With the process for admission including more steps in 2022, we are encouraging fans to arrive early to the ground to ensure fans are inside in time for the first bounce.

The entry process will now include QR code check-in and proof of vaccination, security bag checks, scanning of ticket and finding your spot to enjoy the game live.

We encourage supporters to download their ticket prior to their arrival at the game.
