Melbourne Premiership forward Bayley Fritsch has put pen to paper on a new long-term deal which will see him remain in the red and blue until at least the end of 2026.
The classy left-footer kicked a game high six goals in Melbourne’s 57-year drought breaking Premiership win and finished the year with 59 goals, the second most in the competition.
The 24-year-old has played 85 career games and kicked a total of 118 goals across his first four seasons with the Demons.
Melbourne List Manager Tim Lamb said this was an exciting signing for the club.
“We are delighted to secure the services of Bayley, who has led our goal Kicking tally for the past two seasons, with this new deal.
“As a club we are thrilled that Bayley has committed long-term and is he is determined to help Melbourne achieve sustained success.
“He has worked incredibly hard on his game since arriving at the club and is much loved and respected by his teammates and staff alike.”
