Jayden Hunt has been crowned ‘Quickest Demon of 2021’.
This week, the AFL released its Telstra Tracker data for the year with the league’s fastest players confirmed.
The AFL Telstra Tracker collects the top speed reached by each player throughout the season, with Hunt coming in at a top speed of 35.24km/h.
The Melbourne defender came in at eighth fastest in the AFL, behind the likes of Essendon’s Nick Hind (36.07km/h) and the Suns’ Oleg Markov (35.89km/h).
Small forward Kysaiah Pickett came in second on the Melbourne leaderboard with a top speed of 34.56km/h, followed by Alex Neal-Bullen (33.95km/h), Ed Langdon (33.91km/h) and Christian Salem (33.80).
