Season Overview: 
After facing injury challenges at the beginning of last year, Hunt produced a strong finish to 2020 kicking four goals in the final round of the season and earning himself a two-year contract extension. His start to 2021 saw him make a position change, moving from the forward line to defence. 

Shifting positions can come with its challenges, but Hunt embraced the change, developing as a solid defender with outstanding run and carry off half-back. His stats sheet may have not been the most impressive on the team, but his speed and agility became a huge asset for the side both in defence and across the ground. One of his top games of the year was in Round 19 where he collected 23 disposals, nine intercept possessions and five score involvements. 

The 26-year-old's season was cut short when he suffered an ankle injury in Round 21. He pushed hard through his rehabilitation but unfortunately didn't regain a spot in the side for the Grand Final. And while it was a bittersweet moment for Hunt to not walk away with a premiership medallion, he played an integral part in the side's journey to that premiership success.
