Steven May, Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver are all in contention to take out the AFL Players’ Association’s MVP award for 2021.
The three Demons have been nominated for the award, which recognises the best player of the league as voted by his peers.
The award is decided via a two-stage process, beginning with players nominating three teammates, before three nominees from every club are presented to the wider playing group for a vote to decide the winner, with players unable to vote for their own teammates in the second stage of the process.
The AFLPA Awards night also features Captain of the Year, Most Courageous Player and Best First Year Player, with three Demons receiving nominations for these categories.
The 2021 AFLPA Awards night will take place on Thursday 2nd September.
