Melbourne fans around the country will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with history, as the club launches the official 2021 Demons' Cup Tour.
Presented by Zurich, the tour will see the Demons’ drought-breaking premiership cup visit multiple locations across Australia, giving members and supporters the chance to experience it in all its glory.
Stage one, encompassing metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, will kick off in November, with Shepparton, Traralgon, Geelong, Ballarat and Warrnambool all on the itinerary, before the tour heads interstate early next year. See the full tour schedule below.
Australian Sports Museum
Melbourne members will be able to gain complimentary access to the Australian Sports Museum when making a booking online using their membership account number. Please note that each member will need to book their place individually and will be able to visit with any other members that select the same timeslot.
The Sporting Globe, Doncaster
Due to overwhelming reservations and venue capacity there will no longer be walk-ups allowed at the Demons’ Cup Tour event at the Sporting Globe Doncaster on Saturday December 4th.
To avoid disappointment and ensure the health and safety of all patrons and staff, only those with a restaurant booking at the Sporting Globe Doncaster between 4-6pm will be guaranteed the opportunity to have their photograph with the 2021 Premiership Cup.
With this in mind, additional bookings have been opened at the Australian Sports Museum at the MCG from Saturday 18th to Monday 20th December. This will allow for members and supporters to book a viewing window, where they will be guaranteed the opportunity to get a photo with the cup. Bookings will open in the coming days.
MCG Celebration
The Premiership Celebration presented by Zurich, will cap off the first leg of the tour. Join us at the free MCG event to relive the Grand Final in full on the big screen, before the 2021 Premiership team is presented on the field.
Please note: Due to capacity reasons, you will be unable to get a photo standing next to the cup on the day. You can still get a photo of Melbourne's 13 VFL/AFL cups will be located outside gate 3 from 8am to 11am. If you wish to have a photo with the cup, please head along to one of the remaining events on the Victorian cup tour leg too.
To attend, you will need to redeem a free ticket via Ticketek. Members will be able to access a ticket from 2pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 24 November using the code emailed to them. Free tickets will then be available to the general public from 2pm (AEDT) on Thursday 25 November.
