Culley joined the Demons as a Supplemental Selection Period just three weeks before the 2025 season began, signing on after Andy Moniz-Wakefield was moved to the inactive list with an ACL injury. Culley is a big-bodied midfielder whose strength and physicality around the stoppages is a weapon that the Demons will be hoping to harness. The former West Coast Eagle was was taken with the first pick in the 2022 Mid-Season Rookie Draft and played 12 games for the club before being delisted following the 2024 season. The former Melbourne fan was unlucky with injury during his time west, rupturing his ACL just weeks after a breakout four-goal performance against Port Adelaide.
