What Melbourne recruiting manager – AFL Women’s Anthony DeJong says: “Our last pick in the draft was Sarah Jolly, who is from Gippsland Galaxy, which is a lower division club. She won the league best and fairest and was also the leading goalkicker. We think she’ll play in the forward line and rotate through the middle as well. She brings some footy smarts to the game. We’ve drafted a few country players and Sarah is one of them.”
