HARRISON Petty will play his first game of AFL since Round 21 of last year, selected to take on the Hawks this weekend.

After an injury interrupted six months, the defender-turned-forward will make his return to the senior side in news that will excite many Demon fans.

As Melbourne searches for its second win of 2024, Petty will add further height and experience inside 50.
